Get Leopard Strong

Whether you are a beginner wanting to gain strength or an advanced lifter looking to track your progress, this challenge can be for you! Let a fitness staff member assess your strength in two movements in the beginning of the semester, and then compare your strength at the end of the semester. The Spring 2026 movements are Bench Press for upper body and Back Squat for lower body. Our fitness staff can give helpful tips for proper technique, so all experience levels are welcome to join.

You can opt to join in on our semester leaderboard for some friendly competition. Participants will be classified base on training experience: beginner (< 2 months of training), intermediate (2 – 12 months of training), and advanced (> 12 months of training). You will have the chance to be recognized for:

  • Most improved during the semester
  • Strongest relative to bodyweight
  • Overall strongest

Let this be a reason for you to push yourself in the gym! You can even encourage your friends to get involved and motivate each other.
