Individual Fitness programs include Fitness Orientations, Personal Training, Fitness Assessments and Body Fat Testing.


Fitness Orientation

An in-depth version of an equipment orientation.  Individuals can seek advice from a personal trainer for a personal workout plan. Program components include cardiovascular exercise, weight training and stretching. In this one hour appointment we will take you through your new exercise program and make sure your exercise technique is picture perfect.

F45 App

The F45 Challenge App offers daily workouts, nutritional advice, healthy recipes, goal tracking and the opportunity to participate in a results-delivering, global 45-day challenge. The app includes a full library of on-demand workouts – including Bodyweight, Weighted and Recovery sessions. Updated daily, the workouts are available on-demand giving you access to fitness training when it’s convenient for you at home or in the fitness center. The workouts are fun, sweat-inducing and deliver results.

INTRO to Weight-LiftingStudents Only

Come learn an introduction to weightlifting with the Lafayette student fitness supervisors!  This session will be open to small groups of students who have limited or no prior experience with weight training.  You’ll develop competence with basic weightlifting movements and equipment which will provide you with more confidence using Lafayette’s fitness center!

Body Fat Testing

Using Bioelectrical Impedance (BI) Method, that sends an extremely low-level electrical current of 50 kHz and 500 µA through your body to determine the amount of fat tissue. This weak current is safe and not felt while operating the Fat Loss Monitor.  It takes less than 5 minutes. Why? Identifying a baseline measurement and monitoring your progress and the effectiveness of your exercise program can provide incentive and motivation to improve your health.
