In 2011, Jodie earned a doctorate degree through Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has research interests in undergraduate leadership development. She completed her M.Ed. at Temple University and received her B.S. from West Chester University. Currently serving as Director of Recreation Services.
She has progressively evolved responsibilities within the Campus Life division since 1993. From 2005 through Spring 2023, she served as Associate Dean of Students/Director of Recreation Services; In addition to directing the Department of Recreation Services, she oversaw the Division’s Leadership Education Program from 2015 to 2023.
From 2011 to 2012 she served as the Interim Dean of Students and during the 2018-2020 academic years she supervised the Office of Student Involvement. In her earlier years at the College, she served as Assistant Dean of Students/Director of Recreation Services and for six years prior, served as an Assistant Director of Athletics/Coordinator of Recreational Sports. She began her career at Lafayette as the head strength and conditioning coach for all 23 varsity sports teams. Jodie finds great pleasure in facilitating a broad range of student-centered programs and priorities.
