Equestrian Team Finds Success at Nationals

At Nationals in the Spring of 2014, Rebekah Scharfe, class of 2015, placed 9th in Individual Open Equitation over Fences, while riding horse, Sunbear.  She also placed 6th in Individual Open Equitation on the Flat. Scharfe additionally competed in the USEF/Cacchione Cup which is made up of all the riders with the most accumulated regular season points in open flat and fences combined, one from each region.  Erin Githens, the coach for the Equestrian Club team, was the volunteer coordinator for the entire event.
