Lafayette Club Tae Kwon Do

The Tae Kwon Do club started practice this year in early September. The roster is comprised of a mixture of students with previous Tae Kwon Do or other Martial Arts experience, as well as first timers. The club meets twice a week to learn new techniques for real world and tournament application. The club belongs to the ECTC (Eastern Collegiate Tae Kwon Do Conference) and participates in ECTC and regional tournaments. Recently, the club traveled to Rahway, N.J., for the 14^th Annual Garden State Cup. Sophomore Arthur Fuller and Senior Susan Grunewald (both pictured on the left) each won gold medals in the tournament. This was a very successful day for Fuller considering it was his first ever Tae Kwon Do tournament.
