Daniel “Coach Danji” Gardner has 40 years of elite level swim coaching experience, the last 10 years coaching at top Asian universities. He also has 24 years of teaching and research experience in health promotion, physical education, wellness, and exercise science. Coach Danji is an elite master’s swimmer, triathlete and naturopathic physician. He coached swimming for many years at Lake Hopatcong in Mount Arlington, N.J. He played sports for Muhlenberg College and has also coached tennis. He was the founder and swim coach of both the Los Angeles Triathlon Club and the Phoenix Triathlon Club, and completed the Hawaii Ironman Triathlon World Championship. He has won Masters Swimming State Championships in New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and Arizona. Coach Danji received his doctorate degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona, and his MBA from Florida State University.
